Project Overview:

Platform Media is a forward-thinking media company focused on empowering creators. As a launchpad for emerging talent, the brand needed a visual identity that would reflect its core values of authenticity, innovation, and community, while standing out in a competitive, fast-paced digital landscape. The identity needed to be flexible across platforms, recognizable at any size, and capable of conveying both creative energy and structural support.

Design Process:
The chosen logo mark is a geometric, abstract “P” monogram that doubles as a music note. Its clean, upward-oriented structure communicates movement, growth, and support, while soft corners maintain a sense of approachability and warmth. The mark was then encased in a squircle, a nod to app icons and digital accessibility.

Further Branding:
The supporting identity system reinforces these ideas across all touchpoints. A contrast-based wordmark emphasizes the balance of platform and media. Avenir and Cerebri were chosen to balance humanist clarity with modern functionality, while a palette of red, black, white, and silver expresses ambition, trust, and innovation. Creative assets like logo-based tessellations, watermark variations, and brand shapes extend the identity, ensuring it feels cohesive, scalable, and rooted in the brand’s purpose: to help elevate creators.
